I'm 24 and graduated college last year. I only have a bank of america credit card. The limit is $3000/month. I also only have a bank of america student checking account that i opened 4-5 years ago and i still use it. I know credit cards have those high interest rates but are those rates only if you don't pay your bill on time? I never understood what it meant by credit card and high interest rates. I never had to pay any fees with bank of america when using their credit card. I still receive those mails from chase, discover, citibank etc asking me to sign up for credit card and low apy fees. I wouldn't mind getting another credit card because of my $3000 limit with BoA. Last time i asked for a limit increase but i told them i had no job and they said they couldn't increase it because of that reason. Would it be a good idea to get more credit cards? I don't usually spend that much money per month but there were a few times where i hit my limit for the month and couldn't spend anymore money on my credit card. If i sign up for a chase or citibank credit card, would it cost me anything if i use the card rarely? Also, if i have a credit card with chase, citibank, that means i would have to get a checking account with them correct to pay the credit card bill online? I pay all my credit card charges using online banking with bank of america.

Last year I paid my car insurance in one hit, online. This year, renewal price was higher because I got 50 cash back last year. I saved 120 by searching around and went ahead with the new deal. Unbeknown to me the first company renewed my insurance without my knowledge because they had my credit card details from the year before. I ended up being insured with 2 companies for 3 days and I went 109 over my limit on my credit card. Not only is it illegal to be insured by 2 companies at the same time, they did it without my knowledge! Are they allowed to do this? I have, I hope, resolved it but if any charges are incurred either for cancelling my previous insurance or going over my credit limit are these retrievable?

They say that they can't afford it but I know they can. They just don't want to pay for something that they think isn't necessary. Since they won't pay for insurance, I can't drive anyone's car. I need health insurance?
My boyfriend and I will be moving to NYC to start college next August. We will have very little money, and will have no form of health insurance. Here in California, we both have free insurance provided by the state, but we are barely eighteen, still in high school, and therefore still living with out parents. Car Insurance think my car is a write-off but independent garage think otherwise?
My car (an 05 Peugeot 206) was involved in an accident (which was my fault but thankfully no other vehicle or persons involved) and there's been some damage to the front of my car (bonnet, grill etc.) - I've rung my insurer and they believe it's a write-off but I've asked them to send an assessor to check the damage. I've also had an independent garage look at the car (as someone else said that they did this in a similar scenario) who believe its not a write-off and they can repair it (450 was quoted for parts!!). He's sending me a quote for insurance work and a quote if it was done for cash. Can I get my insurer to use this garage if their assessor still deems it a write-off? If not, what are my options? This is my first time claiming insurance and I've got no real idea!!

I looked into insurance available to me in Georgia and here what the least affordable costs me: $350/month, 20% specialist cost after a $3500/yr deductible, 3 doctor visits per year at $45 each, $20 for each prescription, no dental/vision coverage and other charges that add up to over $7500/yr. And all of this BEFORE the latest 14% price hike. I've decided to save up the same $7500/yr for medical expenses and chuck the insurance companies. My son, who just turned 18, has a pretty extensive traffic record. Firstly he got a ticket for passing in a no passing, but he went on diversion and was clean for more than a year so is that off his record now? Secondly he has also been in 2 wrecks before, gotten arrested for possession of marijuana, and just today got a speeding ticket for going 63 in a 45(163 dollar ticket). currently the insurance for him is 190 a month which is five times higher than anybody in the family. So what should i expect the insurance to be now, and what are my options because this is a lot of money.

Hello I have a question concerning a Traffic citation that i got 13 days ago. On the 21st of November i got pulled over for a blinker that was out on my car. I had bought this car from a friend 3 months ago and hadnt didnt redgister it into my name or have current tags. I had insurance for the first month that i had the car but then due to finacial problems couldnt afford the extra 220 a month for car insurance. So the State Trooper gave me a citition which written under the description only said no proof of insurance. So the a couple of days later i went and got insurance, redgistration, tags, license plates the whole nine yards and i went into the trooper station to clear the citation cause it is correctable but the lady tells me i have to show proof of insurance from the day of getting the citiation. so my only opition is either take this to court or pay a whooping 540$ and 6 points off my Driver's license i was wondering if i should take this to court?

I just recently had my ATV stolen which I still owe $5,300 on.It does have full coverage insurance through state farm.I still don't know if they are going to pay it off but my question is if they do pay it off and its recovered will I get the ATV back and get to keep it or will the insurance take it or will they do like a totaled car and give me the option to buy it back?

I'm 18 years old and currently have my driver's license and pay car insurance on it under my parents insurance plan. I want to know if it's possible to sell my car and stop paying for the car insurance. Is it possible to have a drivers license, but not be paying for insurance? I'm 24 and graduated college last year. I only have a bank of america credit card. The limit is $3000/month. I also only have a bank of america student checking account that i opened 4-5 years ago and i still use it. I know credit cards have those high interest rates but are those rates only if you don't pay your bill on time? I never understood what it meant by credit card and high interest rates. I never had to pay any fees with bank of america when using their credit card. I still receive those mails from chase, discover, citibank etc asking me to sign up for credit card and low apy fees. I wouldn't mind getting another credit card because of my $3000 limit with BoA. Last time i asked for a limit increase but i told them i had no job and they said they couldn't increase it because of that reason. Would it be a good idea to get more credit cards? I don't usually spend that much money per month but there were a few times where i hit my limit for the month and couldn't spend anymore money on my credit card. If i sign up for a chase or citibank credit card, would it cost me anything if i use the card rarely? Also, if i have a credit card with chase, citibank, that means i would have to get a checking account with them correct to pay the credit card bill online? I pay all my credit card charges using online banking with bank of america.
